Lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO4)) battery has the advantages of small size, light weight, outstanding high temperature performance, excellent cycle performance, high rate charge and discharge, and environmental protection. Lithium iron phosphate batteries are suitable for efficient work in communication base stations in harsh environments with high ambient temperature, small computer room area, and small load-bearing conditions. They can be used as an effective substitute for lead-acid batteries in terminal power backup batteries.
The following is a brief description of the basic requirements for lithium iron phosphate batteries in the communication equipment scenario:
1. Working temperature
Lithium iron phosphate battery charging environment temperature: 0℃ ~ 55℃; discharging environment temperature: -20℃ ~ 60℃;
2. Electrical performance
1) The difference between the maximum and minimum static open circuit voltages between the batteries in the battery module should not be greater than 0.05 volts;
2) The difference between the maximum and minimum static internal resistance of each battery cell in the battery module should meet: the absolute value of the deviation below 10mΩ does not exceed 0.5mΩ, and the deviation above 10mΩ does not exceed 5% of the average;
3) The difference between the maximum and minimum capacity of each battery in the battery module shall not exceed 1% of the average value.
3. Capacity
The charge and discharge capacity of lithium iron phosphate battery packs at a rate of 0.5C should not be less than 95% of the nominal capacity.
4. Electromagnetic compatibility
The lithium iron phosphate battery pack can resist electrostatic induction interference and can meet the EMC requirements of the industry.
5. Communication protocol and interface
The lithium iron phosphate battery pack is equipped with a dedicated rechargeable battery intelligent BMS, which realizes battery status monitoring, battery status analysis, battery safety protection, energy control management and battery information management.
