SES Power has extensive experience in specialized lithium batteries. Our low-temperature lithium iron phosphate batteries can operate at -60 degrees Celsius and release 90% of their capacity at -40 degrees Celsius. This is an amazing performance.
You can use SES Power's cryogenic batteries for an unparalleled Power experience on cold mountains or snowy fields. It can be recharged at -30 degrees Celsius, which allows you to use the battery outdoors without worrying about damaging it.
To solve the low temperature resistance of the battery, it usually starts from the 3 aspects of battery material, battery cell design and PACK manufacturing.
The common positive and negative materials of lithium batteries are mainly ternary and lithium iron phosphate. Nanotechnology can be used to make the material particles nanometer, and by doping La (La is the element symbol of lanthanum), Mg and other different elements, reducing SEI and other methods to improve the performance under low temperature conditions.
The electrolyte mainly considers the use of low-temperature resistant models, and the industry is also accelerating the research and development of solid electrolytes.
In the design of Pack, there is great flexibility. Many solutions can be designed according to the actual conditions of the user, such as "all-climate battery", which is to add a heater between the positive and negative plates, and control the circuit through a switch to realize the heating of the battery. The efficiency of this internal heating is much higher than that of external heating, and the energy consumption is lower. Once the ambient temperature is lower than the set value, the battery will close the charging circuit and only opens the heating circuit. After the battery is slowly heated to a suitable temperature, the heating circuit will be closed and then the battery charging circuit gets opened.

3)"LT" means Low Temperature Using Series
SES Power LT series LiFePO4 battery is specifically designed for cold temperature charging and discharging. It can be charged at temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F) and disarged at temperatures down to -40°C (-40°F).The LT Series LiFePO4 battery has the same size and performance as LT Series LiFePO4 battery but can be safely used when temperatures drop as low as -40°C. It is an ideal choice for use in RVs, off-grid solar, and in any application where charging in cold temperatures is necessary.

SES Power LC series LiFePO4 battery has a built-in communication module(Bluetoolth or RS485) that lets you communicate with the battery using our free APP for Andriod mobile or computer.You can check the battery capacity or State of Charge (SoC),voltage, temperature, charge or discharge current simply by using the APP.At the same time, the LC series battery can be safely used when temperatures drop as low as -40°C(-40°F). The LC series is suited for RVs, off-grid solar, and in any application where charging in cold temperatures is necessary.
