  Q: Will the voltage difference between newly installed lead-acid batteries affect their use?

  A: The newly installed lead-acid battery, after a certain period of floating charge operation, the float charge voltage will tend to be uniform, because the saturation of the sulfuric acid just used is higher, the gas recombination efficiency is poor, and the saturation will drop slightly after operation. The float voltage of the battery will also be uniform.

  Q: What are the reasons for the different voltages of lead-acid batteries during long-term floating charge operation?

  A: Currently, VRLA batteries have uneven floating charge voltage, which is caused by the accumulation of errors in the quality, quantity, and content of the accessories and materials used in each link of the production of lead-acid batteries, especially the use of poor voltage in VRLA batteries. In the liquid design, the error will affect the sulfuric acid saturation inside the lead-acid battery, and the float charge voltage will be different. However, after a certain period of floating charge operation of VRLA batteries, the floating charge voltage will tend to be uniform.

  Another reason is that the impedance of the connecting bar connected in series with the battery is too large, and the pole is in poor contact with the connecting bar.

  The new battery may have unevenness within 3 to 6 months of operation.

  Q: How to judge the poor-quality lead-acid battery when the lead-acid battery is floating charge?

  A: Lead-acid batteries with poor quality or severe attenuation have a low terminal voltage during discharge. If the positive electrode voltage of the lead-acid battery is the lowest measured in three consecutive discharge cycles, it can be judged as unqualified lead-acid in the combination.
