  The electrodes of lead-acid batteries are composed of lead and lead oxides, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. Lead-acid batteries have the advantages of stable voltage and low price.

  At the end of the life of a lead-acid battery, a multimeter and an ammeter can be used to test the voltage and current, and their values are very low.

  In actual use, the discharge capacity of a lead-acid battery is less than about 60% of the rated capacity. If the function cannot be restored after repair, it needs to be scrapped. Generally, after the capacity of the lead-acid battery declines to about 60%, the function will be greatly degraded, and at the same time all the charge and discharge capabilities will be quickly lost.

  When the lead-acid battery is charged, severe heat generation and deformation of the casing occur. When the plate of a lead-acid battery is softened and deformed, the active material will fall off, and the electrolyte in the battery will turn black, and even fail to recover.

However, lead-acid batteries have short cycle life, large area, and high load-bearing requirements for the computer room, which are likely to cause environmental pollution. The development of lead-acid batteries in various countries tends to shrink. Lithium batteries, especially lithium iron phosphate batteries, naturally have advantages such as high energy density, small footprint, and long cycle life that lead-acid does not possess.

  It can be predicted that in the next 3 to 5 years, the market share of lithium batteries will approach or exceed that of lead-acid batteries. It is a consensus in various fields that lithium batteries will dominate the market in the future.
