　　Although lithium batteries have more advantages than lead-acid batteries, lead-acid batteries still have a huge application market due to customers' usage habits and the needs of the real environment.

　　Lithium batteries have software such as BMS that can accurately measure their remaining capacity and lifespan. Lead-acid batteries do not have such technical support. So how to judge whether lead-acid batteries have reached the end of their life?

　　(1) The actual discharge capacity of the lead-acid battery is less than about 60% of the rated capacity. If the performance cannot be restored after repair, it must be scrapped. Because the performance of the lead-acid battery at this time will be greatly attenuated, and the charging and discharging capabilities will soon be completely lost. Its performance is that it is fully charged in a short time and discharged quickly, unable to store power, and the discharge time is very short.

　　(2) The lead-acid battery heats up severely when charging, and the casing is deformed. At this time, the lead-acid battery plate softens and deforms, the active material falls off, and the electrolyte turns black. The lead-acid battery will show the characteristics of short charging time and short discharge time.

　　(3) Use a multimeter to test the voltage of the lead-acid battery after it is fully charged. If the voltage value is very low, it indicates that the performance of the battery is degraded, and the internal short circuit or open circuit may occur, and it should be replaced in time.
