China's lithium battery market share exceeds 60% in the global market

　　According to the organizer of the “2018 Third Asia-Pacific Battery Show” to be held in Guangzhou in August yesterday, China’s lithium battery market share has exceeded 60% in the global market, completely surpassing Japan and South Korea, and is the number one in the world. According to the organizer, the Asia-Pacific Battery Show has attracted more than 800 companies from more than 50 countries around the world, and more than 1,000 new products are gathered. The registered buyers are also from more than 20 countries such as Europe, America and Southeast Asia. International giants LG, Jaguar Land Rover, Famous companies such as Tesla also attended the purchase. The organizer of the Asia-Pacific Battery Show said that China’s power battery shipments reached 44.5 million kilowatt-hours (GWh) last year, an increase of 12% year-on-year; among them, ternary power batteries have emerged, and the installed capacity has soared to 16.56GWh, a year-on-year increase of 165%. Star companies with installed capacity exceeding 1GWh, such as CATL, BYD, and Waterma, have emerged.
