At this CIBF2018 exhibition, as the only lithium-ion power company in Hunan Province that has passed the regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the automotive power battery industry, and the leader of the ten key industries in Hunan Province-Miaosheng Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Miaosheng Power ”), bringing its heavyweight new products to CIBF2018. At the exhibition, Miaosheng Power released the super fast charging power battery independently developed by the company, which provides a breakthrough solution for the current energy supply of new energy vehicles. It is understood that Miaosheng Power currently mainly develops high-energy density, high-power batteries, fast charging, ultra-low temperature and other battery products. It has advantages in appearance and structure design, BMS research and development, automated flexible production, quality management, and safety protection.
As the "heart" of electric vehicles, the performance of power batteries restricts the development of electric vehicles. Battery life is short, charging is slow, and there are certain safety hazards, which are the major "death points" of current power batteries.
The new technology brought by Miaosheng Power this time is based on solving these consumer pain points. On the morning of the 22nd, at the three-minute China super fast charging power battery system and the world premiere press conference for electric vehicles, Miaosheng Power released the results of their painstaking research for many years-the world's first mass-produced power for 3 minutes fast charging The battery and the first mass-produced 3-minute fast-charging electric car will be turned on simultaneously for three minutes. This new technology is expected to solve problems such as fast charging of electric vehicles and set off a new round of revolution in the new energy vehicle industry.
According to Mr. Qiu Zeyou, Chairman of Miaosheng Power, the world's first mass-produced 3-minute super fast charging battery released this time can be continuously charged at a rate of 15C or higher, charging at a speed of more than 80% in 3 minutes, and charging and discharging cycles of 10,000 at 1C. It can start normally and charge quickly even in extremely cold and low temperature (-20℃) environment. In addition, a new energy vehicle power battery testing agency has been entrusted to carry out a full range of charging efficiency testing, and a third-party authoritative notary agency has been invited to supervise the entire process, and the testing agency’s test report has been presented on the spot.
A series of power battery products were released at this conference, according to the charging type: 20C type, 15C type, 10C type, 5C type. Among them, 5C energy fast charge battery is its main product. The energy density ranges from 190wh/kg to 210wh/kg, with 5C fast charging capability; it is used in various fields such as passenger cars, logistics vehicles, automobile buses, and electric energy storage.
Miaosheng Power: build a "bucket" power battery
Nowadays, what people often call "bucket machine" is used to describe those mobile phones with balanced configuration, no shortcomings, and powerful comprehensive experience. Extended to the field of power batteries, the "bucket" type power battery refers to a product with good charge and discharge characteristics, long cycle life, high energy density, good low temperature characteristics, high safety and fast charging.
According to Qiu Ze, the battery products of Miaosheng Power are close to linear discharge characteristics, and the remaining power can be calculated without any difference. The remaining mileage can be accurate to kilometers, effectively eliminating the unpredictability and uncertainty of cruising range, and solving mileage anxiety.
In terms of cycle life, he said that the battery has been tested and the remaining capacity is still more than 80% after 8,000 cycles. In addition, according to technical experts from Miaosheng Power, the energy density of the company's next-generation fast-charge battery products will be increased to more than 180wh/kg. In view of the current situation that the power of the existing domestic charging piles has not yet reached the technical requirements of super fast charging, while developing the 3-minute super fast charging, they also designed and developed 5-minute and 10-minute fast charging batteries, and began mass production. According to Qiu Zeyou, many well-known domestic automakers have thrown olive branches. It is worth mentioning that super fast charging is also a technology that maximizes the benefits of charging facilities and operating vehicles. Real car experience, intuitively feel that fast charging is not a dream
According to the introduction, at present, Miaosheng super fast charging electric vehicle has completed 36,000 kilometers inspection, and has experienced four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, as well as road tests in different environments and different roads. The car weighs 1700kg, is loaded with 23.8 kilowatt-hours of electricity, has a battery energy density of about 150wh/kg, has a maximum range of 202 kilometers, and consumes 11.78 kilowatt-hours of electricity per 100 kilometers, which is much lower than the current low consumption of 16 kilowatt-hours/100 kilometers.
