The electric power of the battery driving part of the RV and the room part are independent of each other, and there will be no mutual loss during use. Simply put, the power reserve and output during the driving of the RV relies on the engine; the household appliances, lighting and living equipment in the living area rely on lithium batteries.
When the RV is not used for a long time, we should pay attention to the following points in order to protect the lithium battery:
1. The battery must be charged to about 50% before shelving. If possible, it is best to charge and discharge once every 2 to 3 months.
2. When the RV is not in use, it should be stored in a ventilated and cool place, and the load line should be disconnected to avoid the self-consumption of the system causing battery power loss.
3. In order to maintain the life of the lithium battery, the RV is suitable for scenarios where the ambient temperature is -10~40℃.
Lithium-ion battery (LIB) has become the main energy storage solution in modern social life. Among them, lithium iron phosphate batteries are a perfect replacement for lead-acid batteries, and they are the first choice for grid-connected peak shaving, off-grid energy storage, photovoltaic energy storage, UPS, data center and other industries.
There are more and more lithium batteries used in RVs. In order to protect lithium batteries, we need to take the above points seriously.
