1. Application areas: soft-pack lithium batteries are mainly used in mobile Internet, mobile power supplies, and digital products such as smart phones, laptops, and cameras. Lithium battery packs have a wide range of application scenarios, such as small computer rooms, weak motor rooms and other computer house systems, new energy outdoor venues, communication base stations, indoor and outdoor non-air-conditioned venues, radio and television venues, military, petroleum and meteorological unmanned venues.

Structural features: The biggest difference between the key materials used in soft-pack lithium batteries is the soft packaging material (aluminum-plastic composite film), which is the most critical and technically difficult material in soft-pack lithium batteries. Flexible packaging materials are usually divided into three layers, namely outer barrier layer (usually an outer protective layer formed by nylon BOPA or PET), barrier layer (middle layer aluminum foil) and inner layer (multifunctional high barrier layer). Lithium battery pack: Lithium battery is assembled as a lithium battery pack, which has a higher energy ratio and longer service life.

　　The main materials of lithium battery packs are positive electrode, negative electrode, electrolyte and separator.

　　3. Energy ratio and weight: The soft pack lithium battery is 40% lighter than the steel shell lithium battery of the same capacity, and 20% lighter than the aluminum shell lithium battery. The capacity of the steel shell battery of the same size is 10 ~ 15% higher than that of the aluminum shell battery, and 5 ~ 10% higher. The energy density of lithium batteries is 3-4 times that of lead-acid batteries, 2.5 times that of nickel-cadmium batteries, and 1.8 times that of nickel-hydrogen batteries. Therefore, with the same battery capacity, lithium batteries will be smaller and lighter than lead-acid batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries and nickel-hydrogen batteries.
