A: Zendure introduces a portable power supply using semi-solid-state batteries ----SuperBase V

This modular energy storage product eliminates a common problem in the back-up storage segment with a relatively low price and and certain advanced technology.

Zendure is a global clean energy technology company founded in 2013. They showcased this product at IFA 2022 and even won the Phandroid 'Best of IFA' award.

Previously, they made all kinds of devices from mobile phone batteries, smart home panels, smart plugs and even satellite batteries. This clean energy company is ready to tackle heavy duty portable and home energy solutions.

They have acquired some very cool technology and are said to be using semi-solid-state batteries. For the uninitiated, this means that it is not exactly a solid state battery, but takes advantage of all the benefits of solid state batteries. The technology makes it safer and has a higher energy density. Of course, SES Power takes this claim with a pinch of salt.

They emphasise the dual output of 120v and 240v. This is said to be the first product that can power both 240v heavy equipment and 120v equipment. It does make it a standby device in the event of a power outage or temporary disconnection from the grid.

The big selling point is its modular capability. Many modular jobs include a home panel with EV socket, 400W solar panel, 32W rigid solar panel and satellite plug. Even more control can be gained by using it with the Zendure app as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

But at the heart of the modular performance here is this stacked approach to battery packs.

B: Runhood launches first portable outdoor power supply with replaceable batteries

Portable power solutions manufacturer Runhood Power Inc. announces the launch of the RALLYE 600 - a modular portable outdoor power supply of its kind with replaceable batteries. The design first appeared in a highly successful crowdfunding campaign that raised 814% of its original goal. The product is highly adaptable and provides a good amount of power.

"We designed this product to address a growing problem. Our work and play is increasingly taking us off site and off the grid. We need products that can support the flexibility and demands of this changing environment," said Jeremy Yao, CEO of Runhood. "People are living in vans and boats, working in campgrounds and on tropical beaches. We want to ensure that these new modes of adventure and productivity are supported by a system that adapts to the way we live now."

The 600W system is powered by two replaceable 324Wh batteries that slide into the unit for a total of 648Wh. customers can purchase as many additional batteries as they need and replace them without constant power, so the unit can run uninterrupted.

The modular system can also be customised to suit different situations. runhood offers a 110V/80W AC module and a 256W DC module which can be connected to individual batteries to create smaller power packs for lighter use. Portable 100W solar panels are available for customers who need to charge on the go or off-grid.

"We wanted to offer our customers maximum flexibility by giving them the option to take only what they need," he added. "Replaceable batteries can be easily connected to compatible AC or DC modules for quick trips that require less power. However, if you want a lot of power - or even unlimited power - you can choose to stock as many batteries as needed."

The RALLYE 600 modular portable power station has won the iF Design Award 2022, the Red Dot Award 2021 and the Gold Dot Design Award. The basic RALLYE 600 with two 324Wh lithium polymer batteries starts at $739.
