High-voltage battery system with higher active and passive safety
In order to reduce the types of parts and improve production efficiency, the mixed plastic and metal parts used in the production of the alliance are all pre-assembled. When developing high-voltage battery systems, the active safety and passive safety of automobiles are the most important considerations. For example, the alliance has spent a lot of energy to develop a fiber composite shell that can draw fault current and perform intrusion detection. The system with insulation fault detection and intermediate circuit voltage monitoring developed by the alliance has already complied with ASIL-D and SILLevel3 standards.
In addition, a self-developed cross-domain safety design scheme has also been patented. The patented technology can safely and quickly cut off the high-voltage voltage autonomously when necessary. Another integration result is the "DryCloud system" developed by EnvitesEnergy. This system can eliminate the risk of battery fire in extreme cases. The Scaba Institute believes that this flexible lithium-ion high-voltage battery system can be applied to electric vehicles, automotive power grids and medical equipment.
