This structure has sufficient and uniform pores to facilitate the passage of ions, and accelerate the aluminum ion in the positive and negative The speed of the communication between the electrodes increases the reaction rate and reduces the internal resistance of the battery. This cathode material is an important factor that enables the aluminum-ion battery to catch up with the lithium-ion battery.  The cycle life of aluminum-ion batteries is 7,500 times, which is much higher than 1,000 times of lithium-ion batteries. Each aluminum ion carries three times the charge of lithium ion. Aluminum materials are cheaper than lithium materials, and aluminum foil is flexible. The    battery exhibits a reversible capacity of about 100 mAh/g and a capacity retention rate of 88% after 200 charge-discharge cycles. The aluminum-graphite battery pack is estimated to have an energy density of 150Wh/kg at a power density of 1,200W/kg, which is about 50% higher than most commercial lithium-ion batteries. Advantages of aluminum batteries:   1) fast: charging takes only one minute;   2) durable: can be charged and discharged 10,000 times, far more than 1,000 times of lithium batteries;   3) safety: can be concave and fold, stable, drill through the aluminum battery, Not only is it not on fire, it can still operate. The disadvantages of aluminum batteries:   1) Voltage: aluminum batteries have a voltage of about 2 volts, which is generally 3.7 volts or 4 volts lower than that of smart phone lithium batteries;    2) size: the size of the battery is still not smaller than lithium batteries, and cannot replace mobile phone batteries at present .   The Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute is expected to be mass-produced in 2018. The team expects to complete a 200-watt battery this year, providing the potential for renewable energy and large-scale energy storage devices.
