How air pollution affects photovoltaic power generation!Photovoltaic power generation relies on abundant sunlight, and the shielding of sunlight by clouds will affect the power generation rate of solar energy. A recent study in the "Nature Sustainability" magazine stated that the impact of air pollution on photovoltaic power generation is three times that of clouds!
Air pollution mainly affects photovoltaic power generation in the following three ways:
(1) The large particles of dust deposited on the photovoltaic panel significantly reduce the output power of the solar panel.
(2) Furthermore, the suspended particles in the air disperse or absorb the solar radiation in the atmosphere.
(3) Affect the cloud cover through pollutants. For example, the airflow layer formed by the interaction of sulfur dioxide in the air and other pollutants will increase cloud reflectivity and reflection time, and reduce the sunlight radiation that can directly reach the earth's surface.
Most areas with abundant solar energy belong to the subtropical arid zone, but the dust in these places is serious, and the dust on the solar panels has a much greater impact on the power generation rate than aerosols. It is estimated that the impact of dust accumulation can account for more than 2/3 of the total impact of particulate pollutants.
Lithium-ion battery (LIB) has become the main energy storage solution in modern social life. Among them, lithium iron phosphate batteries are a perfect replacement for lead-acid batteries, and they are the first choice for grid-connected peak shaving, off-grid energy storage, photovoltaic energy storage, UPS, data center and other industries.
Solar power generation system with lithium battery energy storage system is a very promising clean energy.
