  Now not all lithium battery protection boards need to be activated, but some protection ICs need to be activated, and this is an old IC solution. The old IC solution needs to do this in order to make the protection board not work, in order to reduce the electrostatic discharge energy, so that the lithium battery can be stored for a longer time.   The protective element used in the lithium battery protection board is a field-effect transistor, which is specially designed to ensure that the battery will not be reconnected to the circuit when it is abnormal. Part of the old design scheme is that the circuit will only work after the protection tube is normally turned on. Therefore, when the protection circuit is used for the first time or after the protection has been generated, the protection circuit cannot be restored because the power supply of the subsequent circuit is disconnected. There is no output from the battery. At this time, only when the battery is connected to the charger and the output voltage of the charger is used to supply power to the protection circuit. After the control part gets the power, it monitors that the battery is in a normal state and starts to resume work before the battery can be used normally.

  If the protection board needs to be activated after charging or completely disconnecting the load due to current limiting protection, it is relatively troublesome, but you can also short-circuit B- (battery negative) and P- (discharge negative). The protection will be released. Remember not to carry a large load when you short-circuit it, otherwise it may cause a lot of sparks. The root cause is that a large voltage difference is formed at both ends of the discharge MOS after the protection. A short-circuit connection will discharge the MOS. The DS level is directly reset to 0V, and the protection is released at this moment.

  Note: It should be common to most boards, even if some of them are not good enough, the board will not be damaged if touched.
