  1. Severe surplus of upstream production capacity

It can be expected that the production capacity of silicon wafers, cells, and modules will exceed 300GW in 2021, far exceeding the expected demand for PV modules in the world in 2021.

  2. The power and size of the components still cannot be unified

  280W to 600W+ components will appear in the market. The mainstream polysilicon sizes are 156.75 and 158.75, and the module power is between 280W-360W. Some manufacturers have upgraded to 166 size, module power is between 340W-360W, 440-470W. The size of the new silicon wafers has increased to 210 and 182, but the market has not yet fully recognized these products. It is expected that first-tier brands will only promote them at the end of 2021. If the market responds well, they may occupy the main position in the next few years.

  3. The component current varies greatly
