Solar PV power generation mode has unique advantages

　　At present, global climate change caused by CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions has become one of the biggest challenges we face. The general increase in temperature is only one aspect of climate change, and even more serious is the resulting extreme weather.

　　In 2017, the greenhouse gas emissions from fossil energy activities accounted for 73% of the total global greenhouse gas emissions. Among them, the power generation and heating industries accounted for the highest proportion of global greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for 30.4%, and transportation emissions accounted for 16.2% of global carbon emissions.

　　Most countries in the world only propose Carbon Neutrality after reaching the peak of carbon emissions. There’re 40 and 60 years for most western countries to realize Carbon Neutrality they promised from the peak of carbon emissions.

　　Renewable energy generation in the UK will account for 48.5% in 2020. But ten years ago, the proportion of electricity produced by fossil fuels in the United Kingdom was still more than 75%. At that time, coal power plants accounted for more than one-third of the electricity generation. By 2020, the proportion of coal-fired electricity generation in the United Kingdom has dropped to 1.6%, by only three coal-fired power plants.

　　We need to shift from a power production model based on high-carbon emissions fossil energy to a new power system production model based on low-carbon renewable energy sources.

　　Solar PV power generation system is a new type of power generation system that uses the PV effect of solar cell semiconductor materials to directly convert solar radiation energy into electrical energy. 　　(1) Hydropower

　　First, large-scale changes in runoff, water temperature, and sediment caused by the operation of the reservoir have an impact on the survival of some fish. Secondly, the construction of the dam will cause problems such as geological disasters, safety, and immigration. From the perspective of carbon emissions, the annual methane emissions from dams and reservoirs account for 1.3% of the total anthropogenic greenhouse gases. The undeveloped water resources are limited, and most of them are concentrated in areas with poor development conditions and higher development difficulties.

　　(2) Wind power

　　More abundant wind energy resources are needed, which are relatively large due to geographical restrictions, and the required area is relatively large, at least a few square kilometers or more, and most of them are built on mountainous areas, seasides, and oceans. Moreover, the fan has sonic radiation, which will affect the lives of birds.

　　(3) Nuclear power

　　Faced with more severe safety issues, design hazards, man-made omissions, occurrence of natural disasters, and terrorist attacks may bring huge risks. In addition, they are also faced with pollution problems from nuclear waste disposal and limitations of scarcity of uranium resources.
