At present, for the application of various batteries in the field of energy storage, most countries around the world choose lithium batteries, including lithium cobalt oxide batteries, lithium manganese oxide batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, and lithium titanate batteries.
Lithium battery energy storage is currently the most feasible technical route in energy storage applications. The specific reasons are:
(1) Lithium batteries have the advantages of high energy density, low self-discharge, no memory effect, wide operating temperature range, fast charge and discharge, and no environmental pollution.
(2) Lithium iron phosphate batteries are significantly better than lead-acid batteries in terms of cycle life, rapid charging and discharging energy efficiency, and specific energy, and are equivalent to lead-acid batteries in terms of safety performance. As a new type of green and environmentally friendly battery, it will form a large-scale replacement for lead-acid batteries and be better used in the field of energy storage.
