  The optimization of packaging technology is the most rational solution under the existing conditions. BYD's blade battery is a typical representative.   In the future, there are two potential directions that are expected to achieve breakthrough development in lithium battery technology:

  Sodium ion battery

  A sodium-based battery (SIB) is a rechargeable battery that uses sodium ions (Na+) as a charge carrier. Sodium ion batteries are suitable for large-scale energy storage devices because of the better safety properties, abundant reserves and low price of sodium. The disadvantage of sodium-based batteries in terms of energy density makes it difficult to impact power batteries.

  Hydrogen energy battery

  Hydrogen has high energy density, large system capacity, and no need to charge. But the industrial chain of hydrogen energy is a long and complex chain. The cost of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, and hydrogen transportation is high, infrastructure investment is large, and stability is insufficient. The advancement of the hydrogen energy battery industry takes time.

  Lithium-ion battery (LIB) has become the main energy storage solution in modern social life. Among them, lithium iron phosphate batteries are a perfect replacement for lead-acid batteries, and they are the first choice for grid-connected peak shaving, off-grid energy storage, photovoltaic energy storage, UPS, data center and other industries.
