  At present, when determining whether energy storage assets meet the standards, the work of asset managers in the field of energy storage is much more difficult than that of asset managers in the fields of wind and solar energy. Why? Because there is no uniform standard yet.

  Due to the limited technical data available in the entire industry, the asset manager must check whether the asset is operating within the design parameters and whether it meets the initial expectations. This is a unique digital system for data collection, monitoring, operation and warranty, so this evaluation may be very different from other technologies.

  Establishing operational performance standards is essential to justify investment decisions and reduce the risk of energy storage as an asset class. This is where the asset management platform plays an important role: understanding and reducing technical performance risks, establishing models, and determining optimization points and releasing added value.
