The consistency of lithium batteries refers to the convergence of important characteristic parameters of the cells that make up the lithium battery pack, and generally refers to the degree of consistency of capacity, internal resistance, weight, charge and discharge curves, etc.
The difference in the initial consistency of lithium batteries will cause greater differences in the states (SOC, SOH, voltage, capacity, etc.) of the individual cells as the number of battery usage increases. This is called the inconsistency of lithium batteries.
What are the reasons for the inconsistency of lithium battery packs?
1. First of all, there are process problems and material unevenness in the manufacturing process of the battery core, which cause slight differences in the interior of the battery core.
2. After the lithium battery pack is put into use, the temperature and ventilation conditions of each battery, the degree of self-discharge and the charging and discharging process of each battery are affected by differences.
3. The difference in pack process makes the impedance of the battery core different during charging and discharging, and the heat dissipation conditions are different.
Improving the consistency of lithium battery packs is a systematic project that needs to be considered from many aspects such as the source design of lithium batteries, production, improvement of Pack technology, and actual application scenarios.
