The process of lithium battery assembly usually has the following points:
1. The sorting and grouping process of batteries
2. the process of welding battery cells into semi-finished battery packs
3. The process of assembling semi-finished battery packs into battery components
4. Electronic function test process for battery components
5. The charge-discharge cycle detection process of battery components
6. Shipment packaging process of battery components
There are some strict requirements in these assembly processes, as follows:
1. Lithium batteries are required to have a high degree of consistency.
2. The lithium battery pack after PACK must meet the voltage and capacity requirements of the design.
3. PCM or BMS must be used to protect the lithium battery pack.
4. Use under limited conditions (including charging method, output, input current, charging method, ambient temperature, etc.).
5. There are usually two ways to weld batteries, one is ordinary DC spot welding and the other is laser welding. It is recommended to use reliable laser welding as much as possible.
