A few days ago, the GB/T "Functional Safety Requirements and Test Methods of Battery Management System for Electric Vehicles" was held at CATL. China Automotive Technology Research Center, CATL, Pan Asia, BAIC, FAW-Volkswagen, Great Wall, Hai Twenty-six experts and representatives from 17 units, including Latvia and Schaeffler, attended the meeting.
The drafting meeting of GB/T "Functional Safety Requirements and Test Methods of Battery Management System for Electric Vehicles" was successfully held in Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The meeting was organized by the China Automotive Technology Research Center Standards Institute (the Secretariat of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee) and organized by Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. 26 experts and representatives from 17 units of new energy vehicle companies, power battery companies, and power battery management system companies attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Li Bo from the Institute of Standards of China Automotive Technology Research Center.
GB/T "Functional Safety Requirements and Test Methods of Battery Management System for Electric Vehicles" is the first functional safety standard for battery management systems for electric vehicles in my country and even in the world. At the meeting, the working group discussed the standard framework and main technical content, and formed a broad consensus on related items (Item), functional safety goals, ASIL levels, functional safety requirements, verification and confirmation methods, and other main technical content. Standard formulation Breakthrough progress has been made, and the meeting also made arrangements for the subsequent gradual improvement of the various chapters of the draft.
