In different scenarios, power systems have different requirements for energy storage systems
Electricity is a complex system that needs to maintain instantaneous balance. It requires the coordination of the four major components of power generation, power grid, load, and energy storage system to help maintain the stability of power. The value of the energy storage system is based on the needs of the power system.
The energy storage system acts as a reservoir of the power system, assisting the power system in real-time balance of energy and electricity.
In different scenarios, the power system has different requirements for the energy storage system. According to the current application scenarios, it mainly includes three directions: the power generation side, the grid side and the user side:
(1) Power generation
The energy storage system is mainly used for the grid connection of large-scale wind power and photovoltaic power generation, and solves the problem of new energy grid connection through load tracking and smooth output, and realizes accurate and rapid frequency adjustment of the overall grid.
(2) Grid
The energy storage system can be arranged in the key hub of the power grid. It not only provides power auxiliary services such as peak shaving and frequency modulation, but also can combine with other scattered clean power sources in the surrounding area to improve the absorption of these scattered clean energy by the power grid.
(3) User
Energy storage systems are used in distributed power generation, microgrid and small distribution network systems to upload energy at different times to maximize user benefits and respond to grid demand, and achieve additional values such as power quality improvement, emergency backup, and reactive power compensation.

Among them, lithium iron phosphate batteries are a perfect replacement for lead-acid batteries, and they are the first choice for grid-connected peak shaving, off-grid energy storage, photovoltaic energy storage, UPS, data center and other industries.
Electrochemical energy storage has a wide range of applicable scenarios, and new energy generation drives the demand for energy storage.
