Solar photovoltaic modules, also called solar cells, are also the most important part of solar power generation systems.
The production process of solar cells is:
1. Battery strip test
In order to effectively improve the consistency, it should be classified according to its performance parameters. The main test items are output voltage and output power.
2. Front welding
Weld a bus tape (tinned copper tape) about twice the length of the battery side to the bus bars of the positive and negative poles of the solar cell strip.
3. Component series connection
The operator uses an electric soldering iron and solder wire to connect the positive and negative lead wires of each solar cell component in series to form a large assembly.
4. Laying
After the components are connected in series and passed the inspection, the order from bottom to top is executed, that is, tempered glass, EVA, battery sheet, EVA, glass fiber, backplane, and lay them.
5. laminated
Put the laid components into a laminator that can create a vacuum environment, heat to melt the EVA and bond the battery, glass and back plate together, and finally cool down and take out the components. The lamination process is a key step in component production.
6. Trimming
After the EVA melts, it extends outward due to pressure to form burrs, so the burrs should be cut off after lamination.
7. Framing
Similar to installing a mirror frame on the glass, the aluminum frame can increase the strength of the components, further seal the battery components, and extend the service life of the battery. The gaps are filled with silicone resin.
8. Welding junction box
Solder a box at the lead on the back of the module to facilitate the connection between the battery and other devices or batteries.
9. high-pressure test
Test the voltage resistance and insulation strength of the components to ensure that the components are not damaged under harsh natural conditions such as lightning strikes.
10. Component test
Calibrate the output power of the finished product, test its output characteristics, and determine the quality level of the components.
