By 2050, solar power generation in Europe will increase to 60% of the total power generation!
A report jointly issued by the European solar energy industry stated that in the middle of this century, photovoltaic energy will become the core of the European continent's clean energy system.
The main content of the research is that from 2030, solar and wind energy will become the pillars of the clean energy system; by 2050, the share of solar energy in the total electricity generation in Europe will increase to 60%.
Michael Schmela, executive consultant and director of market intelligence for the European solar industry, said: "By 2050, solar energy will generate more than 60% of Europe's electricity. However, unified grid connection and industry integration are the key."
The research report stated that if there is no policy support, neither solar nor wind power generation capacity will enable Europe to achieve zero carbon emissions in the middle of this century.
Aurelie Beauvais, executive director of the European solar energy industry, said: “The EU should set a climate-neutral goal legally to meet the requirements of the Paris Agreement. We should also set up a committee as an implementation and monitoring body to eliminate the legal and administrative framework, because This is the main obstacle to the use of photovoltaics and renewable energy in Europe."
Lithium-ion battery (LIB) has become the main energy storage solution in modern social life. Among them, lithium iron phosphate batteries are a perfect replacement for lead-acid batteries, and they are the first choice for grid-connected peak shaving, off-grid energy storage, photovoltaic energy storage, UPS, data center and other industries.
Solar power generation system with lithium battery energy storage system is a very promising clean energy.
