Innovation Strategic Alliance, etc. Experts believe that the above two
innovations have outstanding practicability and have reached the international
advanced level. The innovation results come from Nantong Weiya Graphene
Technology Co., Ltd., a new enterprise with a "photovoltaic gene".
my country's graphene industry has developed rapidly in recent years, and
has formed six market-oriented fields focusing on new energy, health, energy
saving and environmental protection, composite materials, graphene raw
materials, and graphene equipment. Related companies engaged in graphene
research and development, production, and application There are more than 400
companies, accounting for about three-quarters of global graphene companies. The
China Graphene Industry Alliance predicts that the global graphene application
market will form an industrial explosion point in 2018 and will grow to a scale
of 100 billion yuan in 2020.
Nantongvia’s main investor, Sha Xiaolin, is the chairman of Johnson &
Johnson, a well-known domestic photovoltaic company. According to him, in 2009,
when the photovoltaic industry was in the ascendant, he entered the field of
graphene. Over the past seven years, a total of more than 20 million yuan has
been invested, and we have been doing preliminary research and development for
the industrial chain and market demand. It is understood that 70% of its
investment is used for talents. A research and development team composed of
experts from China, the United States, and Germany has been established. It has
obtained 1 national invention patent, 6 national invention patents, 5
international PCT invention patents, and 1 paper published in SCI authoritative
scientific journals. At present, the company has a relatively complete technical
reserve ranging from graphene upstream materials to downstream applications, and
has successfully developed a series of new products of graphene materials mainly
composed of composite fibers. Sha Xiaolin introduced that there are already
investment institutions intending to invest 1 billion yuan to acquire
companies.
Nantongvia has developed new graphene composite fibers including graphene
nylon fiber, polyester fiber, etc., which have obvious effects in
anti-bacterial, anti-mite, anti-ultraviolet, etc., and also have certain
functions in anti-heat, anti-static, and anti-cutting. "Single-layer graphene
room temperature intercalation and exfoliation preparation technology", the cost
is only one-tenth of similar foreign products.
The company plans to realize mass production of graphene functional
specialty fibers next year, with an output scale of 10,000 tons. On the other
hand, further optimize the production technology of single-layer graphene raw
materials, and continue to maintain the international leading level. It is
reported that the company's single-layer graphene production line with an annual
output of 5 tons has begun operation, and the second-phase production line with
an annual production capacity of 100 tons will be put into operation in the
first quarter of next year.
But experts also call for investment in the graphene industry not to be
rushed in. It must target market demand and have its own core competitiveness.

Innovation Strategic Alliance, said frankly, "The development of graphene must
break out of the ‘conceptual hype’ misunderstanding, and not blindly put it into
production, but still work hard on substantive applications."
