1. The first few times are to expand the capacity of the gel battery. The charging current should be above 10A and within 15A, and the charging time should be 12-15 hours.

　　2. During the use of colloidal batteries, always check the voltage and specific gravity of each single battery (under normal conditions, 1.280g/cm3 when fully charged), so as to grasp the storage capacity of the battery and adjust the liquid level and density in time.

　　3. During the battery use, when the electrolyte is reduced due to the evaporation of water, distilled water should be added frequently to maintain the level of the electrolyte. If the density of the electrolyte is lower than the normal value due to abnormal conditions, it should be adjusted with sulfuric acid with a density of 1.400g/cm3 at the end of charging. Under normal circumstances, it is strictly forbidden to supplement dilute sulfuric acid and irregular distilled water.

　　4. The surface of the colloidal battery should be kept clean, and the holes in the upper cover should be kept unblocked during use to avoid explosion when the gas is concentrated.

　　5. The positive pole of the gel battery often produces a brown-red lead dioxide film. Use gauze to remove the film (or rinse the terminal with boiling water and tighten the bolt and nut) to make the positive terminal appear blue-gray, otherwise poor contact will affect the use.

　　6. The bolt and nut connection between the colloidal battery packs will be loose due to corrosion or vibration, so it is necessary to check the tightened bolts and nuts frequently to avoid sparks, burnt terminals and explosions when the gas is concentrated.

　　7. All used batteries must be fully charged before storage. Do not pour out the electrolyte when parking.
